How often should I feed my fish?
Feeding frequency depends on the specific type of fish that you have, because every species is different from each other. Usually majority of fish require feeding at least once per day, and most of the hobbyists feed their fish once in the morning and once in the evening.

How much should I feed my fish at a time?
You don’t want to feed your fish more than it can eat, so sprinkle some food into the water and then let the fish eat for about five minutes. The quantity eaten in this time will be the appropriate amount of food to feed your fish.
Can fish be overfed?
Yes. Fish will eat even when they’re not hungry, so it’s up to you to make sure they’re not overfed. Overfeeding the fish can cause more problems than underfeeding. They become dull and lethargic and cause permanent body deformities.
When Should I Feed My Fish?
Most fish feed in the early morning and at dusk. Exceptions are herbivores and omnivores that graze all day as well as nocturnal species. However, aquarium fish can be fed at any time of day, morning and evening feedings are best. They can be trained for “feeding time” and eagerly swim back and forth at the surface or emerge from hiding places in anticipation of their next meal.
How often should I change my fish’s water?
If you have a tank or aquarium, you should plan on doing tank water maintenance at least once per week, although you probably won’t be changing all of the water every time. Commonly, a water change will be about 10% to 20% of the water in the tank, and monitor the balance of nitrate, nitrite and ammonia levels.
